Uma cena atípica marcou o jogo entre Grêmio e São Luiz pelo Campeonato Gaúcho na manhã deste domingo (15) na Arena, em Porto Alegre. Preocupados com a sua saúde e também com as de seus familiares, os jogadores do Grêmio entraram em campo vestindo máscaras em protesto à continuidade dos jogos de futebol no Brasil em meio ao surto de coronavírus que se espalhou no território brasileiro e no mundo nas últimas semanas.

O futebol brasileiro vai parando aos poucos por conta do coronavírus
Neste domingo, a CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) suspendeu os jogos a nível nacional a partir da semana que vem. No Rio Grande do Sul, a FGF (Federação Gaúcha de Futebol) exigiu que os jogos deste final de semana do Campeonato Gaúcho fossem sem público. Ainda nesta semana, a Federação deverá se pronunciar a respeito da continuidade da competição estadual. Sexta, em entrevista, o presidente Luciano Hocsman admitiu que existe uma boa chance do torneio ser paralisado.
